Biography

Associate Professor Beata Webb’s research focuses on megatrends in education, specifically on the digitalisation and internationalisation of education, in Australia and globally. Managing, developing and teaching online programs for a decade has inspired her passion for online and multimodal teaching and learning, and employing technology to increase student access to highest quality education, anywhere, anytime. She loves to assist a broad range of professionals in maximising their capacity to teach and work in a digital environment.

Dr. Beata Webb is the Leader of the Humanities and Global Studies Discipline area (in the Faculty of Society and Design), which includes Spanish, French, Japanese and Chinese Languages and Cultures programs, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), Philosophy, International Relations, Australian Studies, Global Studies and Humanities Research Portfolio.

Dr. Beata Webb’s current role has motivated her interests in educational management and leadership. Her research and practical training skills aim to support educators and other professionals in designing effective online learning environments and understanding linguistically and culturally diverse student cohorts. She has delivered keynote addresses, conference papers and professional workshops in megatrends in education, online education and international education, in Australia, Europe and Asia.
